They made a mistake on the "Harley rider - before gear". This is the proper photo:

Well it's not a Kawasaki...... so if your expectations are low you'll be fine.

Well yes...

In fact, they're still using the same equipment they've been using since after the great war.  ;)

Hard to believe that they're not profitable since all of their tooling has been paid for since the 1940's.  :icon_joker:

They don't actually use the tooling anymore, it wore out years ago.
They've just been reusing frames and engines over and over again.

This rider went a bit wide in a turn while doing "The Dragon" last year.

Oh Boy...

Now that's a Squid with attitude  ;)  So what do you think will take longer, polishing all that chrome or pulling out all the bits of pavement from his face?

Was that 5 of 6 degrees of lean?  Hard to tell from that angle.  :P

We can laugh all we want at harley but they are brillant. 30 years ago Harley was trying to figure out how to build a bike to compete with the technically superior liquid cooled imports.  They quite and decided to sell an image that comes with a bike. Now all the imports dumped most of there liquided cooled cruisers and the flag ship cruisers are air cooled Harley knock offs. Who's smarter?

The company that had to dump Buell, and is on the verge of begging for bailout money to cover all the bad loans that they gave out to people with no teeth? :icon_biggrin:

The accident with the Harley in the water happened at the Gap last year during our Katriders.com Rally.  I'm pretty sure it was Paul that took that picture and helped him get the bike out of the water.  (Or at least tried)

Damm. In additional to the Buell debacle Harley is now selling MV Augusta as well.
Just when I was looking forward to the new version.....
