Yup, just tucked the front a wee bit...that was awesome...had a buddy of mine tell me that a couple of times. Thought ya right, but, this proves its possible to stand the bike back up...  nice save

might depend on belly fat!

I know if it was me, too much weight would be rolling, and I would fall off  :hello:
I don't see how anyone would trade a Windows PC for a $1500 mac. It's easy to use a mac, it's also easy to stick your hand in a woodchipper...

Looks to me like his toe scraped the ground and he lost his footing.

If you absolutely don't want to know anything about what happened in the race, don't read the below, but...  (it's very insignificant, and no names are named)

Watch for someone to do a pretty good imitation of this in the race.  (That was a bit of a letdown eh?)

Skills!
If you can't be satisfied with the advice of experts that it's "piss" and not wine then what do you have to do, drink it?
Well it's not a Kawasaki...... so if your expectations are low you'll be fine.

You might be right Nate, but have another look at the 1:oo min mark... that front wheel looks like it was floppin in the breeze before he lost footing...

Yeah, you might want to take another look Nate.  They drag knees and sometimes elbows, but I personally have done the leg slide, but didn't save it.  Take a look at the front end of the bike and watch his body movement, he used his elbow like a lever/training wheel to keep himself up.

Wow nice save.  From one side looks like he just fell off a bit but other view show the front go.

The video after that was an interview with him, and he said he was swapping old and new tires.  he said that the front did indeed buckle on him.

Regardless of what happened it was an amazing save!

It's suprising how much you can control yourself and your weight distribution with your knee puck in a situation like this.  Not just for telling how close you are to the pavement after all hehe.  I tell ya if I ever did that at a track day I would pack my $hnit and head for home, assuming I had used all my luck for that day.  Probably didn't phase him at all, even if he crashes he just gets on a new bike and goes again.
