If we can get about 5 or more, then your looking at 80$CAD + tax. That would be GST only. So 84.80$ to your door.

I posted earlier, but it seems the post mysteriously disappeared....

(we are aware that some local vendors also sell tank cam brackets but this is a post for a group buy).

If it's a group buy why not go into "The Local Dealership" and try to get a group discount like Millenia did for the back protectors...Save yourselves the cost of shipping, duties and brokerage fees....

Harold,

Does the site do any profit by going to a dealer and buying 10 brackets @ 80$ each and reselling them at 80$ a piece?

Do the MATH !

Is there any wonder dealers don't want to advertise here?  You don't even want to support them with group buys like this  confused5

1) this is the first group buy.
2) I have a special agreement with SportBikeCam.com
3) there will be more group buys for sure.

If anyone has suggestions for products, then let me know. (created a topic just for suggestions)

I can contact the 2 advertisers to see what they can do for us.

Then tell me this?

Why would I go to OTGC for example and buy products for group buys from them when they dont even support us? Why would we support them?

Back on topic for a sec.  I bought one of these brackets in the last group buy and it's excellent.  Unfortunately it doesn't work well with the big JR magnetic tank bag I travel with.  I've been meaning to see if they can sell me a longer arm that would work better.

No love eh Nelson!

As for the bracket I might be interested ... I'm just not sure about this model.  Who else has one and how do they find it?  Is there anything that can be improved on it?

keep me posted cause I'm pretty sure I'll get one this year.

Sorry, I don't want to keep going off topic here, I'm just trying to help with your marketing tactics.  Comments like this will never get you in their good books.  You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Barn,

you can seach google on tank cam brakets or ask Viffer. He bought a clamping style and seem to work well for him.

I use this one on my SV1000, and you can ask Viffer and others that where on the ride to White Face last year, I used it to capture stills and video with my Canon A30... I also use it to either put my Bullet cam on it from my Samsung mini digicam or put the camcorder directly on it.

The pics in my avatar where taken with it on the way to White Face last year.

I too would prefer to support local business, but after being posted in remote areas where many vendors had the "take our price, or make the drive to the city" attitude....  a discount is a discount, and I'll buy it if I like.  Hell, I made an extra $3000 on a veh trade in just for driving 3hr to an auto dealership Edmonton instead of buying in Cold Lake.

Hello.

I'm intrested, but what model is it exactly? sportbikecam has tons of different models for different bikes. Is this 5 or more group buy count for any model of street bike becuase alot of them require S or SS or SBC## etc. If it is personalised to our individual bikes im intrested.
