There are some used parts dealers in southern ontario, but I can only remember one.

Give Felix (Cycle Salvage) a call 613 839 1750.

Or Woody's in Perth, but he's mainly dirt bikes.

There is a shop in Ashton as well, but I don't have contact info.

Before you start buying stuff - check out what the Maxim is worth.  My guess is Not Much.

Good Hunting!

Thanks for the info.  I know its not worth much and I did say it was a barn find but that was to indicate the shape it was in.  Its actually my old bike that was in good working order back in 2003 that I'm trying to bring back to like.  Thanks for the info.  also ideas as to where I should go for regular parts such as brake pads, air filters, ect.  Thanks.

Felix is retired to his farm up near Kinburn but he has a little stuff from his salvage business. Cyclemaster in Ashton got rid of their salvage yard years ago. They might have some bits lying around. Its slim pickings around Ottawa these days. What parts are you looking for?

Are you looking for local?

I'd try the local Yamaha dealer first, I can still get parts for my 86 there.  Just make sure you know what the part numbers are or you may be waiting for a while.
Original factory Yamaha parts might cost you an arm and a leg though.

Have you tried ebay? and probably mikesxs.net

Well it's not a Kawasaki...... so if your expectations are low you'll be fine.
