an "unknown rider" R6 went down on the Nicholas west on ramp.

Rider seems in good spirits, and is expected to make a full recovery.

Members of Peterborough County OPP, along with Ornge Air ambulance and paramedics responded to the collision that occurred shortly before 1 p.m. yesterday (Saturday).

OPP say the accident happened when a westbound pickup truck crossed the centre line of Highway 7 and collided with three of seven motorcycles travelling eastbound near Weller Road.

OPP say the five people were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from serious to life-threatening.

The highway was closed for several hours but was opened to traffic at around 9 last night (Saturday).

Little birdie told me he stole this motorcycle from a roommate he was living with while she was at work. He was wearing her helmet and they found some txt messages that he was on his way to drop the bike somewhere... He did not even have his motorcycle license.
