From today's Ottawa Sun.

Hope the rider recovers quickly.

A head-on collision between a motorcycle rider and an SUV has sent a man in his 50s to hospital with a fractured leg and head injuries.

According to paramedics, the accident happened near the intersection of Hunt Club Road and Lancelot Drive around 11:20 a.m.

Details about how the two vehicles collided have not yet been released.

The man was in stable condition when he was taken to hospital.

The police investigation into the crash is continuing.
