M2 exit test without own bike
« on: August 02, 2016, 10:21:06 AM »

I don't have my bike anymore and just wondering what options are out there to do M2 exit test?   Besides the obvious of borrowing one from someone?  The only person I know that has a bike is my sister-in-law so I may go that route if needed.

What other options are out there?    Does Algonquin do M2 exit tests in those weekend courses or is that just M1 exit?

way way back I recall a place on Walkley that would lend out their bikes for road tests if you did the course through them, if not I think they charged a fee?

Here's an old thread on the subject: http://www.ott-motorcycles.ca/index.php?topic=49200.0
Don't buy a bike if you're afraid to drop it.

contact David - http://ottawadrivingschool.com/motorcycle.shtml

He has (or at least had, 10 or so year ago) a bunch of bikes (stored 5 min away from Walkley Drive Test center) that you could borrow for a reasonable cost.

That's the one!   Thanks.   I recall using their bike for my M1 exit test a good 12 years ago the first time around.  Then I let my M2 expire  :BangHead:

I absolutely positively do not recommend renting 1 of those 3 pieces of $hnit up the road on Walkley.  2 weeks ago the black Honda was riding with a loose rear tire.  While following. Whine it I could see the front tire clearly.  The rider couldn't keep the bike straight it was pulling to the right hard and he was always counter steering to keep it straight.  The one with the dented tank and the brown Honda has to be bump started regularly...
