Who wants to take a ride up to Calabogie Saturday and spectate at the track day?

Meet at Timmies(March and Carling) at 10am depart for around 10:30.

Leisurely ride.

So, to get to that Timmies, I take the river parkway that turns into Carling... keep going until it becomes March.. then i should see it, right?

That's the long way I suppose.  The quickest way is take the Queensway, take the March exit and go north until you see the Tim Horton's just before Carling Ave.

but the long way is more 'fun'  - or less boring - than highway tho, no? at least you're stuck with red lights all the way i suppose :)

Yes. Tim's will be on your left hand side in the same strip mall as the Lone Star restaurant and Metro grocery store. The bikes tend to congregate next to the Royal Bank.

Riding out the Ottawa river parkway is a nice little cruise for sure.....    Take it to Carling, go west, stay on Carling to Kanata.  As you go by the Mitel buildings on the right, there's a "back way" into a Metro store on the left...the Timmies is in there.

Salami and I, along with various others in our households, are going to "cruise up" to Calabogie as well.    Both of us will have our young'uns on the back, and either my wife or older young'un will be on the ZZR.   Leaving Carp sometime between 10 and 11.   This will be the first real (even if it's only three bikes) "group ride" for either my wife or the young lad....

See you all there (at CMP I mean....!!

Ya, I sold it to a 'work' friend but I have to wait for two weeks for him to get the money....not really a big deal since he's been talking about buying it for the last year and half.

What a great day for a ride (~12 bikes) to Calabogie Motorsports. Here are some photo's and a video that Dave and I took of the group.

The highlight of the day was that the group got to do a parade lap on the track.  :headbang:

Hey Mike, where are the photo's that you took of the parade lap?

People are never more insecure than when they become obsessed with their fears at the expense of their dreams. Life's challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, but to help you discover who you are.
